Free Defect Report Template

Defect reports live or die on the pairing of photo and finding. A defect entry without a clear photo gets disputed; a photo without a location and severity gets ignored. The manual workflow — camera roll on the phone, Word document on the desktop, copy-paste in between — is exactly where that pairing breaks down. Fifty photos into a snag walk, nobody remembers which ceiling stain was Bedroom 2 and which was the hallway.
