Introduction

InspectPro Solo is operated by Selah AI Consulting Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”). This policy covers two separate things: the data collected by this website (house-inspectors.com), and how the InspectPro Solo app handles your information. It is written in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

Website analytics: We use Google Analytics to collect aggregated and pseudonymous usage data, including pages visited, time on site, and general location (country/region). This data is processed by Google before being reported to us and does not identify you personally. It helps us understand how visitors use the site and improve it.

Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish unique visitors and track sessions; these cookies do not contain personal information. You can disable cookies in your browser settings or use a browser extension to opt out of Google Analytics. Analytics data may be processed on Google’s servers in the United States and other countries where Google operates.

The download buttons on this site link to the Apple App Store, where Apple’s own privacy policy applies.

The InspectPro Solo App

The app collects no personal data and transmits nothing off your device. There is no account, no registration, no login, and no server that receives data from the app. We do not collect your name, email, location, device identifiers, analytics, or usage data.

Your inspection and client data — including client names, property addresses, photos, notes, ratings, and reports — is entered by you and stored only on your device. We never receive it. If your reports include personal information about third parties, you are responsible for having the authority or consent to record it.

Storage and backups: all app data is stored locally on your device as the only copy. The app makes no network connections of its own and does not sync to any cloud. You can create a full backup yourself via Settings → Data Management (a ZIP file you save wherever you choose), and we recommend using your device’s own backup features too. You are responsible for your own backups; we cannot recover data lost from your device.

Subscriptions: the app subscription is purchased and billed through the Apple App Store under Apple’s own privacy policy. We do not receive your payment details and have no access to your App Store account. We use no analytics, crash reporting, or other third-party services that would receive your data.

Your Rights (Privacy Act 2020)

Because your app data lives only on your device and under your control, you can access, correct, or delete any of it at any time within the app, or by uninstalling the app. We hold no app data about you to access or correct. If you believe your privacy rights have been breached, you may complain to us at the email below, and if you are not satisfied, to the New Zealand Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz or 0800 803 909).
